*A message for all the Working Professionals, Entrepreneurs, Budding Entrepreneurs, Hustlers, Dreamers and the passionate ones*
Sitting in my office on a Sunday Afternoon, i thought about sharing something that I have learnt over the past 7 years of my Entrepreneurial Journey.
There are 3 things which we need to inculcate and follow in order to excel:
1.) Always work with the intention of serving and providing value:
People are our greatest asset. Their growth, their profit and their well-being should be our foremost concern.
As Mahatma Gandhi had rightly said, “The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.”
Whatever industry you might be in, always work with the intention of helping.
Don’t go for short cuts like reducing product quality, cheating people for short-term gains or making fake promises.
Work for people and your numbers will swell astonishingly.
2.) Consistency is the key:
A lot of us get fascinated by the shiny objects (the low hanging fruits which are perceived to be easily achievable) and lose focus on the long term results.
All businesses that have become big have only achieved that level by doing stuff repeatedly.
Choose a sector and start working upon it continuously.
Always remember, a gradual progress is much better than looking for short term profits.
Massive success is a combination of all these mini victories.
3.) Never aim for perfection:
You might find it surprising, as to how avoiding perfection can actually be an advantage.
The fact is that a lot of us actually don’t take action as we keep waiting for the perfect opportunity or the perfect business plan or the perfect timing.
The perfection that we seek shall never come and we’ll keep waiting all our life. It is advisable to test the waters and then respond accordingly rather than not taking the dive at the first place.
Wish you greater success in life.
